Wade said today that he's added about 30% of the defensive playbook since the last time the Texans played the Ravens. That means Flacco will get a lot more different looks this time around.

That Ravens game was the first game after Mario got injured. Barwin played Sam linebacker and Reed played Will linebacker. After the game they switched and now Barwin plays Will (Mario's old spot) while Reed plays Sam.

This is a coin flip game to me. Both teams are pretty equal. Limit the mistakes and make the one or two extra plays it takes to win and the Texans can come out victorious.

    Scheduled Kickoff: 12:05

    Game Release

    Flip Card

    Injury Report

Uniform: White Jersey / Blue Pants

Weather forecast for Sunday: Partly Cloudy with a high near 38. 10% chance of precipitation. Winds from the Northwest at 12mph.

    Go Texans!

the key to this game, is which team can stop the running game of the other team.

Too much pressure in the QB, if the running game is stopped.

I really believe the texans can make it to the afc championship game. you guys are just a better team than the ravens.

this team is peaking at the right time that's for sure.

Rookie QB playing away in coldish temperature against the loud Baltimore crowd and a top, physical defense. I wish I could be as optimistic.

Temperature is so overrated. It's the elements like snow and rain that matters. With our running game and defense, I have confidence. TJ won't be put in bad spots.

I'm sure the climate in North Carolina during the Fall was just as harsh. I think TJ will be fine.

Anyone watch 'The Huddle'? All those dudes: Charles Davis, Jalen Rose, all going for the Ravens.

I really hope we prove them wrong, because the underdog title may wear on us in this game.

the ravens choke against any team not named the titans. when they play the titans they are world beaters. when they don't, they are average. I can't remember the last team the ravens beat that wasn't the titans, honestly.

actually this was my impression, but I realized after I had looked it up that the Ravens have beaten, KC, New England to name a few. They generally are good in the playoffs. My bad.

I guess that means that the texans are gunna lose. sorry texan fans.

Another bad sign: the ravens haven't lost a game at home all year. Perfect 8-0. That is a huge stat.

for a QB wind has to be the biggest factor.
the only player I could see being impacted negatively by cold temperature is OD with his hand issue.

...but lets be real, its only going to be low 30s...we aren't talking about in the teens here. all things considered this is GREAT weather for early January in Baltimore

So? The New England Patriots were undefeated AT HOME and ON THE ROAD. PERFECT 16-0 regular season, with 2 wins in the playoffs, had won 18 in a row... and lost to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

    F*** your stat. :p

    I share your sentiments, hairyme.

But they were 0-0 in neutral locations. There was no evidence either way until they lost. ravens stat still valid. :p
