    I'd rather do this:

She is definitely lucky, and I bet she's said more than a few prayers of thanks. But let's giver her some props, too: she's pretty dang tough. She swam through rapids, occasionally diving under to free the rope that was threatening to drown her, and reached the shore...with her feet tied together and a broken collarbone. That's a pretty gutsy girl.

Thats pretty run of the mill for Australia. We don't bow to things like gravity, sharp rocks or rapids.

Agreed - impressive! I don't think anyone up there thought she would survive this at first.

Mix in a salad, sweetheart, and maybe you won't keep snapping bungee cords

The bungie cord looked like it slowed her descent some before it actually snapped. If she was just taking a dive off that bridge with no rope, then I think she would be dead.

I guess so. I mean, any country that eats this stuff on purpose must be pretty tough:

    Very very lucky!

I guess she won't be suing the company especially if she signed a release, eh?

Those things are not worth the paper they are written on....at least not in the USA.

I'm sure it's another story in Zimbabwe, where the rule of law reigns supreme.

I guessed they just lost their business. I say sue the hell out of them if they lack the experience and safety. I'm pretty sure they were too cheap to replace those bungee cores from many jumps.

however, a few things confuses me......

Why would you bungee jump in a river full of crocs?

The mindset of most ppl that bungee jump is all the ropes and equipment are safe.....i get that....However, if i fall, i rather fall in water instead of the ground.....Not sure i want to take a risk of falling into waters with a bunch of crocs....

Well, I could imagine that the crocs got scared for a few moments there as well, if a bomb like that drops into the water out of nowhere...

That was a fast moving river. Crocodiles like standing water. I doubt there were crocodiles in that area of the river.
