Depending on the matchup, I'd take Rondo over Derrick Rose.
    He's that good defensively.

Both players under team control until 2015-16.

Rondo's Salary in that Time Frame:

    $10MM
    $11MM
    $12MM
    $13MM

    Wall's Salary:

    $5.5MM
    $5.9MM
    $7.5MM
    $9.7MM

Can't just look at it in a "who's better right now?" vacuum. If I get both guys right now, I have them both under contract through 2014-15. Not only is Wall cheaper, I suspect he'll be better as soon as next year.

Looking at future contract obligations has nothing to do with right now.

The question wasn't, "Who's better right now?" it was "Who would you rather have on your team right now?"

Since both players are under team control for the same number of years, I'd rather have Wall, with his upside and smaller contract.

Ah I see. In that case I totally agree. I think Rondo currently has greater impact, but Wall is definitely a worthy gamble on a rookie scale contract.

Rondo is the better player right now, but I'd rather have Wall on my team. His upside is much higher and I think he has a higher trade value. They just have done a bad job putting pieces around Wall. I mean, he has to play with friggin Andray Blatche...

Also, not a fan of PGs who can't shoot.

Wall can't shoot either. He just doesn't know it.

Rondo is miles better right now.

Speaking as someone that spent 2 years in Boston, I would take John Wall in a heartbeat. Rondo is the Shaquille O'Neal of point guards. His horrendous FT% makes him a liability during crunch time.

It's also easy to look good when you've got the best pure shooter in the game on the wing knocking down shot after shot.

In a more mature setting, I'd prefer Wall. Rando has his issues but he's definitely more polished than Wall is. Who cares though? Lowry is the perfect PG for this team regardless of this comparison. He plays on both ends of the floor and can shoot from 3 range.

Either..Wall only good because he's a quick lefty.Wall won't be too efective once players figure out to force him right.Rondo looks good because he has Garnett and Allen to dish to,which usually ends in a field goal.

    These guys are one-sided players.I like the all-around guards,who can shoot,pass,and protect
