No I don't think Batum has any higher value than Bud, that was your stance.

    lol your right.
Do you really think that C Bud's value is as high as Batum's around the NBA?

As I said most GMs would view this as a lateral move

Personally, I think Bud is at most an avg SF in the league, but we should first address the vacancy in our center position.

    1. Although Bud is inconstant on the offensive end, with Martin, Scola, Lowry, Lee, Patterson and Dragic, Bud usually serves as the 3rd or 4th option.

    2. Bud is a soft wing, and he will have a hard time defending athletic swing-men. However, if we have a big man in low post, he can make up some of the Bud's (and Martin's) plays.

    3. Bud has high basketball IQ. He can play good team defense and make good passes.

    4. Bud's salary is low, it opens up a lot of trade options for us.

It wouldn't be a problem bringing Bud off the bench. I think what DD is saying is, who, on the Rockets now, is going to replace him. I am not sure T-Will is ready to start yet.

I am saying CBud is the best option we have, period.

If someone can beat him out, then by gummet, they need to get cracking !

Right now, he is a nice complimentary STARTING role player.

And doing a damned fine job.

Like i said, i have always felt that Williams should start over Bud. I believe the reason that Bud is still starting is because of his effort on defense. Also, i tend to trust the decisions that the coaching staff makes. I mean, they are professionals after all.

Budinger is only as good as the team is. So eager to see how good this team can be.
