Searching for the link for this... kinda puzzling why the NFL would release this when they want the MARQUEE playoff matchup to be Saturday in prime-time, and they don't know who those teams will be. Tebow or the Saints are much more interesting than the Texans (even though I love them) or the Falcons.
There is nothing official about that above website at all... they even mention in the comments that they can't confirm the teams and the days they play until the playoffs are set. All that being said, still a good chance the Texans could be playing on Sunday.
wow, it's actually simple. NBC get's both games Saturday. I just looked on the TV guide. IF they get the chance to pick, they will pick Pittsburgh, no doubt about. I'd say there is a very good chance that we play on Sunday.
Not sure how up to speed Peter King is on these things, but he thinks the Texans play the early Saturday game. Also, he predicts the Texans to win on Sunday over the Titans.
it depends on who gets first pick. NBC gets both Saturday games. Fox/CBS get Sunday IF NBC gets first pick, regardless of what game time they get to pick, they will pick Pitt vs whoever. So they will be guaranteed a NFC game for the other slot. That is rule. If Fox picks first, they will pick the Saints. NBC would pick next and take Pitt. If CBS picks first, they will pick Pitt and would be a Sunday game. Only way the texans play on Saturday is if CBS gets the first pick, period. Houston vs whoever, is the least game to be watched.
So, do we want a Saturday game or prefer Sunday? I'll take Saturday because Sunday is a day too long.
I think Sunday would best. We play all of our games on Sunday. Keep it that way? Extra day for Wade to work?
Sunday game PLEASE. I'm expected by wifey to go to some wedding (don't even know who's it is) on the 7th. She's gonna be really pissed, because it's a know brainer for me. But I'd rather not have to deal with the consequences.
Saturday game please, Tailgating, winning first playoff game, then going out Saturday night VIP style to celebrate!!!
I'm hoping for a Saturday game. The LSU/Bama game is on Monday and I'd prefer to not have to rush to NO. Would be nice to stay and celebrate a win Sat night.
The Bengals will come to Houston. Not a bad draw. Hopefully this game with Baltimore will take a lot out of them.
