Let's see how that jumper holds up during the course of the regular season. If it does, Griffin is a top 5 player.

Wow that was such a treat to watch. I wasn't aware he could handle the ball, much less like what he did to Ostrich.

I still won't root for him, but damn he's fun to watch.

    batkins, I thank thee.

I do acknowledge Blake's special talent and it does seem like he has improved from last season. Having said that, let's keep on thing in mind. He's playing in a preseason game against a team that is going through a lot of adjustments. Once the season rolls, he won't get to the basket that easy. Which means he'll have to work on his mid-range and FTs.

Now, getting Paul and Billups instantly makes the Clippers a legitimate contender. With that kind of talent, they should get to the second round easily if all things go right.

He's going to have a field day against the Rockets without Chuck Hayes guarding him.

Anyone see a Griffin for Howard trade as a possibility this season?

Clippers won't trade Clippers, he's the NBA's #1 cash cow right now. Add all the Lob City stuff and you know no team would trade him.

Howard fits in well with the lob city theme. The Clippers would be crazy to not consider trading for Howard (especially if he agrees to re-sign with them).

    Howard / Jordan
    Jordan / Tomkins
    Butler / Gomes
    Billups / Williams / Foye
    Paul / Bledsoe

Scary team with size, length, speed, defense, shooters, and athleticism. Most of all no white peeps.

I wonder if Morey would trade Scola for Jordan.

Jordan can guard PFs, and Howard would play the PF role on offense while Jordan says inside. Dwight has a good mid-range game.

I would trade our whole team for this guy. Just fill the rest with D-League team b/c i would trust management to put a decent team around him eventually. Clippers will find a way to mess this up. And then Blake will be within our reach.

    It's all.....part of the plan.

This dude has the strongest/core body in the NBA. Next is Dwight and then maybe Hayes.

I wouldn't trade Griffin for Howard. He's only 22. He's going to be scary good in his prime. He's like a LeBron James at the 4.

The up and under at 4:38 was blinding ... it was that beautiful.

I watched some other clips of this game, the Clippers overall ball movement is something else. To have that many good passers in the starting rotation is unreal.
