I don't like Lebron, but he has it right. Whoever(be it his business partners or himself) advised him not to marry his girlfriend, but still take care of her so he doesn't have to worry about legal issues etc, he got it right. With their lifestyle, it is just not worthwhile. Even Dhoward who came in as a christian virgin ended up impregnating a cheerleader, now shes set for life bc she gave it up to a hoop star, its not evne him paying for every ounce of the child's expenses and luxuries, but his mother gets over the top sort of things rather than just being comfortable, it was an investment for her to get laid and not use protection, it is just a real odd system. MJ still got it worse though, what did he lose was it 250 million? Hogan got it pretty bad not to mention embarassed in a book, Kobe's parents are probably shaking their head, but he is about to get it real bad too. So his contract was signed during their marriage, but he still gets a lot of it after the divorce, is she entitled to that too(he gets 30 mill in the last year of his deal)
It is unexpected coming 10 years after the cheating was caught. It was one thing to do it then, but now 10 years later, of course he probably still is, but the divorce is out of no where. I am curious to see how he/Lakers respond to all these changes. Clippers are the hotshots coming in and the show in LA this year, if there is one thing Bryant does do is feed himself on negativity, so itll be interesting or it all just blow up in the lakers face as they are another year older, without their coach, without their 6th man of the year
Think about it. Who can live with a guy with such a big ego long term if it wasn't for the money. What is the chance he kicks you out himself and get a younger one? Well it's one way to succeed in the NBA, the other to do the same in a marriage.
