It also seems apparent that the resubmitted trade, while having changes, is just a move to see whether or not Stern will cave in with all the public scrutiny thats happened after the veto.
Naturally, I was assuming it goes through:grin: Don't want to think about that. We will have a pissed Gasol to face the Lakers with
Jonathan_Feigen Jonathan Feigen Kevin Martin clarified that when he said "They made it clear what they want," he meant NO wanting him, Scola. Was not referring to Rockets. 25 minutes ago
Hello there. Just wanted to ask if i'm in the right thread? Is this the 3 team trade thread or DD vs clutchfans thread? Thanks!
Are you sure that the league will approve this trade? Me not. It looks very similar to the previous one. ¿?
If they don't, it'll be the worst PR move ever. That and the union has said that they will try to sue the league if a deal has not yet been reached by Monday.
I like the thinking regarding the deal (Gasol and Nene). But I would really had liked that McHale work with Thabeet... But now it's looking like he will be an amnesty cut, in pursuit of Nene. Lowry / Flynn Lee / T-Will Budinger / Morris Nene / Patterson Gasol / Hill I think that is a solid team. Would need to grow a lot together, but given the circumstances - it would be very competitive. Morey said in the past he thought that T-Will could be an all-star, and as a backup he'd be given a chance to show his stuff. Too bad about Thabeet needing to be cut... but Nene is proven and Thabeet isn't.
Yeah because Gasol is better than Amare, DWill, and Melo just to name a few below him. PER stats are great, so are the Lakers teams he played on. Going to stop now, but I agree with DD. Gasol is not an elite player. And I am looking at stats, PER, and the actual games not to mention the thoughts of the Lakers who have questioned his toughness for a few years now.
If we are not in the lottery then we lose our 2012 oick in the TWill trade. It has to be the pick we got from the knicks.
