If these acts would stop, I would bet he would not be able to post articles about them.

And if some of those other groups were as prevelant then maybe he would be posting about them.

Again, I ask you, if you don't like em, don't read em.....

He is not attacking anyone, just simply posting the facts, and news articles.

Nothing wrong with that, it is the proper forum and everything.

I certainly never said that. Are you arguing with New Yorker now?

LOL, the crusades again. They happened hundreds of years ago. It always makes me laugh when people have nothing else to say and they are like...but...but...the crusades! Don't forget the crusades!

KKK: I despise people like that, but to me, they are such a ridiculous small fringe group that I don't know what to say about these idiots. And as bad as they are, I don't remember the last time a KKK member bombed a plane, etc. etc.

What Christian violence are you speaking of? I am sure there is some, but when was the last time a Christian bombed a plane in the name of Jesus?

    In Ireland.

Maybe I could complain about animal abuse and about greenhouse gases as well, while I would be at it.

Trying to paint Iraq as a holy war. Holy smokes. That's an incredibly stupid thing to say that requires more stretched logic and specious reasoning than even you're known to employ.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I think you and ATW got each others back very nicely. That is an insane line of attack you just put up.

If this isn't some kind of trolling ruse, I think you have a mental disorder, and I urge you to seek help. I mean that with absolute sincerity. It seems like you are suffering from some type of schizophrenia. Again, not teasing, 100% serious. Seek help if this is the case.

Considering the event in discussion was NOT in response to religion, my response makes perfect sense. But you posting over 26,000 on a website, I don't expect you to understand much about critical thinking. But you keep right on failing at life kid.

I wish people like Donny would stop embarrassing themselves, day in and day out. It seems these little people think that because they haven't had a life for years and spend all their time online that gives them some sort of special position to be mentally challenged.

DD I have asked repeatedly for an address so you can in person try and act like a big person, but instead you just disappear. As I'm sure you'll do this time as well.

Did you even read the post you replied to...?

Did you miss the "in the name of" part? Are you completely unaware of the context of the discussion you've jumped into?

Cause, yeah, someone's number of posts on this BBS are inversely related to their ability to think critically. That's some solid logic there, skipper.

(By the way, you probably shouldn't run "you post too much" smack, since you're outpacing everybody in this thread but DD in posts per day.)

Look, back to reality, ATW is simply posting articles about heinous events, do they have a common theme, sure...Islam.

Maybe he is wanting everyone to take a closer look at why Islam is the common thread.

Then like I said before it's ridiculous. Because the much much much much much more common thread in Islam are the 90% that don't resort to violence in the name of their religion.

So it's like going to a Casino and pointing out how often snake eyes are rolled at a craps table. Sure it happens time and time again, but everyone knows that 7 will come up the most frequently. So a person who ignores the 7's being rolled and goes on and on about how many snake eyes end up getting rolled is missing the bigger issue.

I get that, but that does not excuse the fact that at the core, Islam is a running theme for the violence.

And the Koran's religious text (which is to be taken literally) is convoluted at best.
