Yep. And you know what? The Texans deserve it. No one to blame but themselves for underwhelming the NFL.
It makes sense. I'm sure everyone outside of Houston would love to see him and Revis together, in a Rex Ryan defense. What's not to love about that?
This. Several analysts have picked us to break out for what seems like 5 years and we have done nothing but make them look foolish. Year in, year out.
The ox has been stuck in the ditch for 10 years, 5 years with the current regime. Time to get it out or put it down.
If the results are good...then it should show them that playing this game with a sense of urgency is the way to go. I'm somewhat hopeful they will come to realize that fans appreciate and want that kind of push every offseason. Every free agency period will be evaluated individually, so we can't speak for next season...but I'm pleased with this one, bc ultimately, it's the players decision to sign.
Wrong. It was born in a ditch (as an expansion team)... but most ox find a way to get out by year 3-4. Then again, the Browns have been in and out of so many ditches since being reborn in one that you really start to wonder if there is more ditch then land on the horizon.
Wow, that guy, Travis Johnson, and Kareem Jackson are why we're dead last in defense. We completely whiffed on 3 first round picks. And the book is still out on Cushing. What a waste.
Lombardi just said in his experience, when a player waits this long and doesn't take the most lucrative offer, it's because he wants the team he WANTS to play for to pony up. However, in MY experience, when an analyst has no clue as to what a player is thinking, he has to make random **** up to justify his existence on network television. Take both pieces of info with a grain of salt.
This is how tired I am of waiting, I'm now forming strange ideas in my head: Nnamdi wants to go to the Jets b/c they wear green/white (Nigerian colors) while the Texans wear the patriotic red, white, and blue. Blaaaahhhhh Moe
It makes sense. I think Asomugha has told the Jets how much it will take for him to sign there. If the Jets, can't do it, then Asomugha will sign with the second team on his list. In this case, I think it's the Texans. It makes sense that Asomugha would wait until the end of the day today to see if the Jets fold. If Jets fold, Texans games will be off the chain
There are still not the favorite to even come out of their own division, with or without aso, they are probably looking at the wildcard.
