I'm coming home for a couple of weeks and am trying to stay in work out mode. Last time I was home, I went to the one by Almeda mall and it was.........not cool. So which ones are good as far good space, good equipment and of course scenery too. Sorry, I need that extra motivation. I've been spoiled by the one I go to in San Diego.

Whats wrong with the one by Almeda? Been to it a few times and its like any other.

The "scenery" at the one on Bay Area Blvd in Clear Lake and Fairmont in Pasadena is actually quite nicer then one would think.

Think its a little overrated at Midtown and haven't been to the Post Oak one that many times, but definitely nice the few times I've been.

The one at Richmond and 610 has the best scenery IMHO.

don't mean to hijack this thread but anybody know a 24 where there are not alot people there, the one i go to on westhiemer has lots of people there during the weekdays and some people love to hog the machines there. Or maybe a better question would be when is a good time to go where not everyone is there??

I go to the one on Almeda and I think its decent, not great or not bad. Well not bad compared to the one on Jones up north, that place is what you call, GHETTO.

yeah i usually go around that time, i get to work out with the older generations that do aerobics but there are still people there who tend to hog up the machines. Maybe its summertime thats why there are alot more people there than usual.

Almeda is the one closest to my brother's place. I went on a Saturday morning and it was rough. I may check out the midtown one and Richmond one. Thanks fellers.

I go to the one next to Meyerland Plaza. It gets crowded after work and on weekends from 9-12. Since I am an insomniac, I usually go around 4-4:30 weekdays before work.

They have elipticals, steppers, free weights, a pool, wall to wall mirrors... but do they have Matt Maloney, legendary R&B producer? Yes. Yes they do.

Funny they call this the "Katy" location when it is not even in Katy.
