Do we have the most Power Fowards in the NBA ? 1-Scola 2-Patterson 3-Hayes 4-Hill 5-Dontas M 6- Marcus Morris 7- Marcus Cousins 8-Chandler Parsons
Marcus Cousins - wont make the team -Chandler Parsons, Marcus Morris are SF -Dontas M is a project big, i.e the only PF minutes he will be getting will be in the d leauge. That leaves -Scola -Patterson -Hayes -Hill Of which Hayes and hill almost exclusively played center minutes. So really we have patterson/scola as our main pf's, and unless we somehow manage to sign a C good enough to supplant the Chuckwagon(highly unlikely), the rest will play other positions, or not play at all.
His only a project big on the defensive side of the ball. Because offensively the guy has a very polished game already at 20yrs old, and will be able to contribute offensively from day one. However, he will need a defensive 4 or 5 next to him, while he's out there on the court. So Chuck and Patterson are probably the best options to play with Motiejunas off the bat, in his rookie year. As far as the OP is concerned the only exclusive 4's on the team are Scola and Patterson. Jordan Hill, Chuck Hayes and Donatas Motiejunas will all be seeing some minutes at the 5 spot and Morris and Parsons are 3's.
Those 3 are playing center, but don't you think they are probably more suited for power forward, especially if they are on the right team. A team with a real center, all three would play forward.
Marcus Cousins is more of a C. CP and MM are sfs, so they're out of that number. That really only leaves Hill, DM, Hayes, PP and Scola, which is ok if DM, Hill and Hayes spend some time at the C. If you want a team dedicated to forwards, check out Minny. At least most of our PFs were gotten at low value, Minny's spent like 5 high lottery picks on forwards.
Hayes play center Hill plays center Morris is a SF Cousins plays C, but will eventually be waived. Parsons plays SF So, Scola, Patterson and D-Mo.
