    afraid not. smith is a great weakside defender, but honestly scola isn't a bad weakside defender (given he is not a good on man defender). he was able to hold his own when yao was playing. we need a true center to match up with the opposition's.

    I understand what you're saying, but regard Scola's knee uncertainty and his age gap between Smith is roughly 6 years. I love Luis' effort, but Smith is the younger, more athletic option. I'm just trying to search for answers with this roster. It's a lot harder than I anticipated.

In fact, I'd wager that the majority of the discussion would have been related to your "article" if you didn't start taking pathetic shots at Clutchfans and the big bad internet, of which you apparently avoid.
