We need A DH Or A 7 footer with great feet hands and shot blocking ability... I know same song we all been speaking but these dudes yall want will not be impact players! Jonas Valanciunas, Bismack Biyombo <-----None Is The Answer. DM should try everything and i do mean everything to grab Enes Kanter, Cuz he's the only big i see in this draft that's A impact player!

We just need someone we can barely understand. Moses, Dream, and Yao. Coincidence? I think not.

It could be argued that we didn't understand RA.

If Valenciunas is still there at 10, I'd expect DM to try and move up to take him.

Of all the guys mentioned Valanciunas is the rawest and the least ready for the NBA. That, according to the scouting report by Jonathan Giovoini from draftexpress.

Oh, yeah. Since we are the odds-on favorite to take it all this season, I guess we really have to get somebody that will make a big impact ASAP.

Is he from Greece? If so, forget it. Remember that one other dude we dissed and he got upset and left NBA to go back to his national team?? Well, he could tell this dude about how bad the Rockets' franchise is and won't even come here.

Valanciunas is not even 1/5 as raw as Biyombo is on offense. Givony is basically a worthless source when it comes to basketball. Valanciunas cannot guard his own shadow though.

would he really fall all the way to 14?

    no.

some dysfuncation team like the warriors or the suns who probably has no idea who valeciunas is and no idea he even still has a european contract would press the "Spin!" button and get this guy.

I'd rather trade all-in for Kanter.

I think Toronto may be the most likely trade partner to move up, at pick 5. They have a $9 million trade exception, which would allow us to package the number 14 pick, the number 23 pick, and a player or two to move up.

Worse case is Omer Asik? OA isn't a bad player by any means.

Stashing him for 2 years means he'll be 21 when he comes over. Wow, steal indeed.

Asik is a very poor comparison for Valanciunas. Again, Givony is a total moron that knows nothing about basketball.

Asik is a lot more athletic than Valanciunas and is a far superior defender to him. Valanciunas is a much better rebounder than Asik and has a lot more potential on offense.

Valanciunas is more of a classic 4, and Asik is a classic center. Asik fits better in pick and roll on offense, while Valanciunas is more of a face up player. Givony is a complete idiot, and it is proven again and again by what garbage is written at his site.

Where is your website where people actually come and see your site for your "valued" opinion? I don't see you putting anything out there to be criticized or even quoted as value on publications.

Givony has never seen any of these players play. It is 100% obvious.

So does Valanciunas qualify or is his English too good?

I'll take this guy or Biyambo or Kanter. Any one of those 3 could help us. Whenever I hear about injury free big men who have strong work ethics, I can't help but get excited.
