I would love to see us trade Kmart to move up and take Kanter..then pick Tobias Harris and Marshon Brooks if available. Lineup would be: Lowry-Dragic Lee-Brooks-Twill Bud-Harris Scola-Pat-Hill Kanter-Hayes Pretty solid team to build around. If we can't trade up to 2, i hope they trade up to 7-8, because I really believe the major talent in this draft is in the top 8. Kyrie Irving PG Derrick Williams PF Brandon Knight PG Jonas Valanciunas C Kemba Walker PG Enes Kanter C Kawhi Leonard SF Jan Vesely SF All upgrades to what we have.
I don't think the top players in the H.S. class of 2011 (Davis, Miller, Gilchrist, Rivers) played in the 2010 Nike hoop summit. However I get your point. I too, think, that Kanter should be priority #1 out of this particular draft class.
Overreacting much??? First off, I said, questionable...... It´s obvious why would Irving be drafted before Barnes, Perry, and Sullinger this year, because he is prepared to contribute at a hight level right away in comparison to those 3 guys (one of the reasons they went back to college, among others), making him a secure pick compared to those guys (and of course because he is talented). My point was very clear, dude said that Kanter would be a top 5 pick next year, I said that EVEN Irving, the clear cut number 1 this year would be a QUESTIONABLE top 5 picks in 2012, not because of his talent, but because of all the talent that can be drafted next year. I am not like you and many others, I don´t act like I know the unknown like what you just did... But you are not alone... Point made. This year it is. PeAcE
That game is from ages ago, Sullinger for sure and Jones to a lesser extent have improved their game by playing in college since then.
Aran (nbadraft.net0 can't be trusted about any international players because he does scout them. He only uses play at workouts and camps for them. However, I trust him much more than I do Givony (draftexpress.com). Givony is basically full of it when it comes to foreign players. I almost think he purposely just posting nonsense just to get a rise out of Europeans and to mock Americans. If Givony really likes a European player then stay the hell away from him.
He isn't high on him. He says his athletic ability is "good for NBA standards", which means he hates him a lot.
NBAdraft has us taking 14 - Bismack Biyombo 23 - Darius Morris 38 - Nikola Mirotic I would not be upset with that at all.
Can you also tell me what he means when he says, "I hate my mom," or, "I need to take a dump," or possibly, From DraftExpress.com http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jan-Vesely-1402/#ixzz1OAlRglLF That sounds a lot like, "I like this man."
I don't see Biyombo falling any lower beyond the Pistons. But on the positive side, every mock draft outside of NBADraft.net has Donatas Motiejunas available at our position. Even though he doesn't play a position of need, I would draft him based on BPA. The Dude would be a complete steal! Because having a 7'ft'er of his skill level would be a definite upgrade to Jordan Hill, and possibly even PPatt.
I think you guys should take it easy on Rocket Dynasty... I think we might have a bit of an "Albert Einstain" situation. (Not sure If he is all ok up there...)
Brooks would be ok if he fell to #23 of if we moved up from #23 a few spots. We really need a small forward or center.
Mirotic is not going to play in the NBA. He is very emphatic about that. His lifelong dream is to play for Real Madrid his whole career. I would take someone like Shermadini instead in the second round.
A rare agreement between us. Do you know anything about the injury he suffered a year or two ago? Is that what is scaring off NBA teams, or is the Georgian League really that horrible? Is it worse than the league Jeremy Tyler came from in Japan?
