Let's see. A 7'0" center that can't rebound, block shots, or pass at an above average rate. Sure, he can score and has a nice touch from the free throw line. But we didn't have a problem scoring last season.

He'd likely be too expensive for someone that doesn't fill a single need.

Now, if we were nearly any other team... :)

    Center?

Bargnani is like a 7 foot SG.

He cannot defend, rebound, block, or protect the rim. He is just a tall shooter. Why do you want him again?

He said 'play in my role'. Bargnani is clearly an inferior version of Nowitzki, he should be playing the same role Dirk plays on the mavs instead of trying to play center. He clearly doesn't have the drive or inclination to bang with the big boys down low.

In other words, he's not a center and would be better served playing a stretch four.

This must be a dream come true for Phoenix. Doesn't get much warmer than Arizona and they could finally have that 5 SG lineup that they've always wanted.

    Not a center.
Not a power forward. (no power game)
    Not a small forward.

    He's an enigma.

He's a small forward mentally, stuck in a power forward's body. He's a career role player. Won't bang in the paint to play the power positions. Won't defend bigs. Can't defend smalls. I'm sure Toronto would love to trade him for Kanter or Biyombo in this draft. But he's not worth a top 20 pick in this draft. He's a role player.

notice he says "play in my role". He is not a center. He is a white Channing Fry 3 point shooter who cant rebound, block, and actually do everything a center is supposed to do.

    No thank you.

In today's NBA, he's a far more valuable player than he would have had he played 10 years ago.

Its a pansy league now that rewards flopping and finnese...

Funny thread tittle. Irony is that Bargani is never on the blocks and doesn't get any blocks.

well i think he can be a good rebounder if given a chance
and he told to pay the outside shooter
he was a number 1 pick
but seriously we could use him
