Another reason the Kobe situation is different is that when Shaq and Kobe came together, Shaq was clearly the better player. I don't think Kobe was happy with the fact that Shaq would always be the one getting the most attention even once Kobe had passed him as a player.

With Lebron and Wade, it's different because Lebron was the better player from day one. He was the two-time MVP before they teamed up. He was the only one of the two who's had any playoff success in the previous four seasons. He's also younger and has more productive years ahead of him than Wade does.

Lebron can prove his greatness as a leader if he wins with a declining Wade a few years down the road. Right now they are both too good for me to give full credit to either of them especially when you throw Bosh in the mix who has been recently proving that he is much more than a role player.

Unless they are losing. And then its about how these superstars can't play together and how Lebron can never win the big one because he has no post game. LoL

Your understanding is flawed. So you're saying that he made an idiotic statement and/or lied to try and get Bosh here? But he also "backed it up" with formulas and statistics that supposedly demonstrated the info to Bosh. Just goes to show you how easily data can be manipulated to show whatever the statistician wants. Either way Morey was wrong.

I'm think Lebron might decline before Wade. Lebron's style is much more risky.

How is Lebron's style more risky? Wade drives recklessly toward the basket far more than Lebron. I see Wade picking himself up off the floor far more often than Lebron.

Lebron is better built to withstand the punishment he takes. Wade's also older and has more of a history of injuries.

Wade is 29, LeBron is 26.

Wade has been injured far more times than LeBron and gets knocked down a lot more. There's no question that he'll decline before LeBron barring major injury.

Yes I am saying that he made an idiotic statement and/or lied to get Bosh here. He probably did some weird simulation where they had the worst basketball players ever around the big 2+Bosh. Regardless, it was meaningless, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

So as a result, we should just assume that stats do not work and stop using them to help make decisions/back up moves? Dallas is a franchise known for utilizing advanced statistics, look at where they are now (and how the moves they made to help them get here has gotten them here).

Do you really think Bosh could have understood Morey's statistical formulas? Morey likely used one of JCDenton's graphs in his presentation.

Isn't Bosh supposed to be pretty bright mathematically? I think he was majoring in engineering in college (although he did leave after only one year).

Why wasn't that a clear path foul? Bogans was behind Wade when he was wrapped up.

let's not bring the refs up at all please. we don't want to get them involved.

good start for wade (however, he had 2 bad possessions to start the game though).

the heat's defense is just ridiculous. their rotation is crazy. they can double rose out to 40ft off the pick and roll, and recover to block boozer after 2 passes.
