But what do you do after the getting laid, and the cigarette????..... I play PS3 (never give up your whole personality, hobbies, interests etc in total, I think giving up some is great)
360 for online reasons, also like the games more. Most games are developed on 360 too, so they look worse on PS3. Also, the online costs are no real reason for PS3 in my opinion, i pay like 35€ for 12+1 months XBL Gold, that's nothing.
Update: Now I'm officially leaning to the PS3 haha..... I just think that for this type of investment, the PS3 is definitely the better choice in the long run. Another question: does the 160GB or slim version support backward compatibility with all PS1 games?
Sadly, as far as I remember (and per the trials on my ps3) they stopped supporting backwards compatibility a few yrs back on the fat models. It was costing too much. Honestly I haven't missed it. You can always get an emulator on your PC and really go that route for any of the old consoles if you have an urge to go back to childhood. PS3's store also offers downloads for alot of the older PS1 titles, direct to your harddrive. Sure you may not want to purchase them again, but the option is there.
PS1 support is the same for all PS3 models (i.e., all PS3s can play PS1 games). This has always been done with software emulation, so no big deal. It is also how they can offer those PS1 downloads on the store (they're not porting niche games to sell for $6). PS2 compatbility is another story. Early models had hardware emulation, but that was dropped in newer models (so they can't play PS2 games). There are no PS2 games on the PS Store for this reason (maybe ports, but not the original PS2 games).
