I am watching the Dallas/Magic game on TNT. It is weird seeing Walt in a Mavs uni. He just missed a three. I don't know if I should boo or cheer him. I can't really boo him, cause I don't blame him for leaving, since we are stacked at forward. Go Walt. :( :(

The uniform may have changed, but it looks like Walt's defense hasn't...

I'll tell you what will be weird. It's Kelvin Cato starting at center for the Rockets this year.

Guns or not, his three point shot is still as erratic as it's ever been. He missed his first 5 shots if I remember correctly.

You guys have to also realize that he's not in the best shape yet. He should start hitting those shots with a little more consistency once he gets his legs under him.

All I know is that he use to kill the Mavs when he was in Houston. I have a list of players I refer to as Mavs killers, and he was one of them.

Cato started last year, too. He knows his place this year and from his interviews he sounds like he has a good attitude.

It's no wonder the Mavs picked him up, perhaps envisioning a first round playoff matchup against Houston. ;) If you can't beat em, pick em up in free agency!

Whatever helps us win. By the way they also have another Maverick killer on their squad ... Avery Johnson.

Last season I was watching a Mavs game with my father. He is a HUGE Rockets fan. I mentioned that Juwan Howard makes more bonehead plays than any other Mav. My father chimed in to say that Walt Williams is that same type of player for the Rockets in that Walt makes bone head plays constantly. Any other Rockets fans agree with this?
