That should go a long way in the next four games. Maybe not?;)

So happy for Battier. I am glad he is getting doing well. That Battier for Thabeet trade was easily the worst trade Morey has made. That was like trading just for the sake trading and not getting of any value whatsoever in return.

Good to see Ish Smith get 1 min in his 1st playoff game in his 1st season in the NBA. I would love to get Ish Smith back as our 3rd PG. I mis Ish and Batman.

I'm happy for him. I also had hated the trade. I also am going for all of our former rocket players that are in the playoffs. Memphis, New Orleans. Just not LA Fakers and Artest.

Glad to see Battier and Landry contributing to their teams success in the playoffs.

    Love it for Shane

For all the people hating the trade... you pretty much don't understand anything about the financial implications of sports. He wasn't coming back. The money doesn't work. Unless you think he's still a 35 min per game guy who can live on the court with chuck hayes on a team without an offensive player that can create his own shot (or shots for others). And we got a pick out of it. You can't just assume everyone you like should stay, money/roster/logic be damned

Is there a stigma that he can't hit big shots on the road? The first thing that came to my mind is the first LAL game in 2010.

    +1.

Given how we played after the trade deadline, I don't see how people are hating on it. I didn't like it at first and don't really expect anything out of Thabeet, but given that Budinger has massively surpassed my expectations of him as a starter, I'm alright with it.

A few posters like to argue that Shane Battier has historically been a no-show on the road during the playoffs.

When the Rockets got eliminated from the playoffs, and I dejectedly thought about what whether to follow the rest of the season, I realized I didn't really like any team, but then remembered that my favorite player now plays for the Memphis Grizzlies...

Over the course of a seven game series the true face of this overrated, overpaid, and overhyped scrub will always reveal itself.

Thanks for wasting away another monster game by the great Zach Randolph and the rest of the Grizzlies and an opportunity to win the series tonight, Shane.
