Naw I pretty much had this chalked up as a loss...b/c MIA is better, they are at home and you can expect bad calls on the road in crunch time. But this one almost certainly puts a nail in the playoff hopes. Its still possible, but I think its all but done at this point.

That statement is tehnically incorrect. We must depend on Memphis and the Hornets to lose more games than we do, a tall order with only a handful of games left. It is almost over.

I thought Pat had earned more playing time.. We have no chance whatsoever against a team like this without a guy that can change shots or get blocks.. No chance..

Did anybody see those other Sunday games when the Heat was up against Chicago or the Knicks? The Sunday games they lost. Notice how Mike Miller could never go inside and score but was regulated at the 3pt stripe? That pretty much explains what we don't have.. A center? How about get Hill and Pat Pat to developed their shot blocking? Our perimeter defense also sucked badly.. We just don't have the tools.

C'mon, every one of us knew that we were gonna lose this game just like the last one against the Heat. We kept it close, but can't overcome the refs being up Wade's arse. He's the biggest primadonna in the league next to LeChoke and gets all the calls.

The Grizzlies are still gonna lose some games, and we're still gonna win some more, season not over yet.

The Hornets need to lose 5 of the remaining 9 AND we have to win all 9 of our remaining games.

If we go 7-2, Hornets need to go 2-7 (with the game against the Hornets being a MUST WIN).

The chances of passing up the Hornets are slim to none.

Chances of passing up the Grizzlies are better (because we have the tiebreaker)

Wednesday 30 is a key date.

Hou @ Phi and NOH vs Por.

2 unfavorable results and we are definitely done. 2 favorable results and we're definitely in for the last 7 games (5 at home, last one at Minnesota).

We have got to get better defensively.

Getting Chandler in the offseason would be HUGE.

The rockets will never be a serious threat with Martin on the roster unless he's a 3rd type of guy.

Hill outplayed patterson tonight and shouldve been given more minutes in the 2nd half.

We should tried more Dragic also because Lee was invisible mostly. CBud missed many layups. Maybe his ankle still bothering him. We lost the lead in the 3rd when Kevin went out.

And of course JHill in would have helped us some on the boards.

Somehow even when we were leading, this game did not have the feel that we could put fear into the Heat. We were just outscoring them.

Lowry getting more recognition from opposing team announcers.

Hurray, Rockets lose and Memphis wins so this foolish talk of the playoffs will subside!

not really sure what your goal is with your posts, other than maybe to get a rise out of people. whether it's beneficial or not, the rockets will not tank - not with this roster, not with this coach. it simply will not happen, they will not lose on purpose.

so that leaves you with... cheering against your own team as they try to compete for a playoff seed.

seems kinda f***ed up to me.

There were moments in the game when KM and CBud were defending DWade and Lebron that were just comical-sad. Oh well, we love our Rockets players anyway, with their weaknesses and all.

Just like management keep saying, we need many more pieces. And maybe a new coach. Before the season started, DM said we need to get back to being a Top 10 defensive team. And anyone who can't make us better on that end will be shipped out. So I guess that includes the coach.
