Skip Bayless: "Bosh Spice's production tonite might bring LeBron, DWade to tears: 7 pts, 4 rebounds in 40 minutes?! 2 and a quarter men."
One of the softest big man I have ever watched. Riley envisioned him manning the heat's frontcourt. I think he is realizing now that they need a big man that can protect the paint and bring in toughness. I would take Charles Oakley or Horace grant a hundred times over 100 over the over-rated Chris Bosh.
oh noes, whatever will they do without his offensive genius, timely timeout calling, and expert public relations skills. i didn't even watch the 2nd half as the first half made it clear the heat weren't going to win, but that is one hilarious box score. how do you have lebron and wade put up 69/17/13 on amazing 26/41 (63.4%) shooting and still lose? not only did they lead the team in scoring and assists, but also were top 2 in rebounds. 11/31 shooting by everybody else with bosh 3/11 and 4 more rebounds than a dead guy. and mike miller might need to be investigated tim donaghy style at this point. who would have thought any lebron team could ever lose 5 straight with lebron shooting something like 60% from the field?
Portland bench: 41 Miami bench: 8 Heat now 1-6 without Carlos Arroyo More Brian Windhorst: "Bosh stopped short of directing calling out the game plan but made it clear he's not happy with his role on offense." Spoiler
Man he's already been shipped out. ESPN just reported live that he is now coaching at a middle school in the Philippines.
You're a 3rd banana, what did you expect? A featured role? Ha! Know your role and accept it. You signed up for this. Now live with the possible consequences. Your team is losing and now you think you deserve more touches?!
If I were Pat Riley, I would have asked Morey about trading for Chuck Hayes. Chuck Hayes is exactly what that team needs.
Heat curse themselves by getting rid of Arroyo, who has played pretty good for them to chase Bibby. Now the pock of the Puerto Rican is on them.
When we don't get anything out of your role players it's rough to win, even with two superstars playing out of their minds. Portland actually played one of their best games of the season. Everyone brings their A game against the Heat.
People want to blame the Heat coach and the Heat bench, but all the blame should go to Wade, Lebron, and Bosh. When most of the payroll goes to only three players, there isn't much left to build a decent supporting cast. Why blame the coach and the bench, when the problem is that the superstars are using up too much of the payroll. Lebron, Wade and Bosh thought they could win a title by themselves along with a few scrubs, and now they see they cannot. How long until the Heat start considering breaking up the superstars?
