    NBATV made it sound like it went through. Memphis receives Josh McRoberts and a pick. Pacers got OJ. if this deal went through, Memphis just traded a disgruntled guard and a player who didn't fit for a solid center and their native son. Not too shabby.

    ****. Why couldn't this have gone through? Would've made Memphis even worse in the future.

    This pick we're getting from the Battier trade is under what conditions? 2013?

    LOL - that's gotta be a little awkward for the next few months. Similar to the Robert Horry to SA trade that never happened. Though Big Shot Rob got over that.

    I don't remember horry trying to get traded to the Spurs from LA?

    I remember the spurs were going to trade brent barry for jr smith in 2006, and the both teams agreed to the dealm but didn't arrive to the nba front office on time, and actually told brent that he was going to be traded, and not get on the plane.

    Major Fail for Memphis, this one. They traded us a pick, tried to replenish pick with this trade, but didn't get it in on time. Team did release a statement saying goodbye to OJ Mayo, though. Good for them.

    They made time to release the statement and lost time to get the trade in. There's priorities for you.

    Poor Shane. He wont be able to save that mess.

    Michael Heisley is such a buffoon. I remember an on air yelling match this summer btwn Heisley & Memphis Talk Show radio host about the botched resigning/negotiating of Mayo's (or one of their player's) contract.

    Rockets have the tie breaker btwn us & Mem. So, it's too early to call. But, I think the Rockets make the playoffs. More faith in that than Mem.

    heard the paperwork wasnt done in time. that could affect the rockets and when they get the memphis pick that they just picked up.
