By the way, there will be video. Andy Ware who does all that stuff for the Rockets was there and we talked for a few minutes. He was filming pretty much everything.

There was also a guy there from NBA Films filming Yao. Plus, basically every media outlet in Houston from the biggies (2, 11, 13, 26, 39) all the way down to the Asian media.

With all the hoopla around Ming, the thing that has grabbed my attention the most is that CD is 6'9"

Wonderful job guys! We get photos of Yao boarding his flight in Shanghai, and exiting his flight in Houston.

Twenty hours on a plane must be a grueling experience when you are 7'5" tall. I doubt that even first class seats have adequate leg room for him.

    That should be a hint...

90% of Houston is doing the "wait and see" mode. It's called, bandwagon.

10% are die-hard fans. Ok, I'm not sure on the numbers. But it sure seems
    that way.

Want an example? Just wait and see how many newbies you'll see when
Yao starts playing. If he plays well, you'll see an influx of newbies
    on this board.

The 25 people are probably fans from cc.net. :D

25 was the initial report. Jeff reported a lot more.

I was down by the limo escort and baggage claim, and there were probably about 20 to 30 people there while Yao drove away.

BTW, is anyone here that guy with the red shirt that said Yao Ming on it? I saw your interview on Fox. Cool!!
