First of all, one of the best ways to "elevate your level of understanding" is to ask questions to people who have a better understanding than yourself (which is what I did). Second of all, don't tell me about being ignored by people I come to respect. You have no clue who I respect here (and no it isn't the people who have more than 5,000 posts, just in case you're wondering, because that doesn't mean shiet). So far the people I respect haven't disrespected or ignored me, so I'll just keep being myself.

I'd like to see the team keep Martin, a good number two option. At least that piece is in place. I like Lowry at the point. I think if the team gets a scorer to pair with Martin, then Scola should go, and he might have to be part of the deal to get that player anyway. This would allow the team to play more frontcourt defense. A rotation of Hayes and Patterson might even be an effective pairing at that position. A center with size who can play some defense and a two-way, athletic small forward would round out the starting rotation. I'd like to see the team trade Brooks and Scola and get back Nene and Wallace or Iggy. I think that would bring a lot of balance and some playmaking to the team.
