Gerald Wallace to HOU is going to happen. Its just destiny...a super talented player with an injury history but yea the talent is there and he will be in a Rocket Uniform

How about Tyson Chandler and Caron Butler for Aaron Brooks, Kevin Martin, and Shane Battier?

If Butler was healthy,Yes. They don't need Brooks, and Tyson isn't likely going anywhere.

When are yall going to get it in your heads, we are not making any trades and if we do it will be so insignificant it wont matter anyways. This season is over.

So everyone stop getting excited for nothing.

Hayes+Yao for Lebron+2 first round picks. Chuck finally getting the respect he deserves.

On a more serious note, I don't think we're going to do anything too drastic, but I'm obviously holding out hope. That said, I'll go out on a limb and stick with the scenario I've been hoping for all along.....CP3 and Okafor will be Rockets. I wouldn't mind giving Thabeet a chance (although I don't like his contract) and would LOVE trading for GWall.

I have no basis for making this prediction but I'll say something wild's gonna happen and we'll end up with Bogut or Hibbert.

That or a trade with New Jersey seems to be logical given their collection of young assets + draft picks.

Morey usually goes for the unexpected, though. Bogut or Hibbert would be completely out of nowhere.

I'm inclined to agree, but hope springs eternal. I hope we can acquire Devin Harris and/or one of several young, athletic, all centers (Fesenko, McGee, Jordan, Hibbert, Asik Biedrins or even Thabeet). My fingers are crossed so tight my thumbs are sticking straight up.

We might not find an offer we like for the long term, and ride this thing into the lottery and pursue free agents for the next two years while continuing to acquire mid level draft pick talent.

might work, might not. If we luck out and get a high pick in the lottery or sign a star free agent in the next few years our future would look just fine. Or we continue the stockpiling of assets strategy (with the very very small chance of big trade in the next few years), or trade up in the draft.

Either way you look at it we will be mediocre or bad for the next few years and then slowly (or with luck quickly) get better and more competitive.

Our rebuilding will be slow and painful like the majority of teams that have rebuilt in the past, unless we luck out (like the few teams that rebuilt quickly, key words: Luck and Few)

Im with you. Expect the unexpected with Morey, something out of left field followed by a bunch of not worthy bows from here in the Garm.

    I think you are right.

Camby has said he'll retire if he goes to a rebuilding situation, but would welcome coming home to Houston. I would be really happy if all it cost was expirings and a mediocre prospect like Hill or Chase.

Defensive anchor + 11 rebounds per game would be huge for this team.

Morey's going to part ways with Courtney Lee, but he'll add a promising 7-footer in Omer Asik.

Rockets will not obtain Nene. Nene will sign contract extension with the nuggets.

Aaron Brooks is staying. Battier will be traded.

Don't forget that he is a former King that played for Adelman, so that factors into it as well.

No, I think for McGee they'd want someone like Scola. We would have to take back Hinrich in return as well.

I would love it if the Rockets were able to get McGee, he has a lot of potential and is a great shot blocker, exactly what we need to compliment Chuck Hayes as our starting PF.

Wow, Clips offering 1st Rounder for Gallo? Morey needs to find a third team. Maybe Korver to the Clips, or a 3-way with Morrow, Brooks, Battier.

Hell even a four team trade isn't far fetched. The proposed T. Chandler to Hou trade as well as the C.Lee trade were both 4-way I believe.

Not only is it a first rounder, but it's Minnesotas unprotected 2012.

This should be our number one target, we just need a cheap productive three to give them. Bud and Brooks?
