Wallace = Carl Landry on steroids

Get ready for a lot of "Get That ISH outta here!"

Great defender, rebounder and has size, exactly what we need. We have all the scoring in the world, lets ship out a declining Battier and get some real lockdown D.

Here's some Wallace driving past Lebron.

Iggys contract i's too much. Wallace would be a nice compliment to Lowry and compensate for Martin on defense.

Wallace is far from a "chucker", and is the superior player because of the superior price tag.

Between Wallace and Iguodala, I would pick AI because he is a better all around player than Wallace. Also he is less injury prone.
wallace has a better contract comparing the two.

If Rockets get either of these two, It will be a huge upgrade on our Small Forward position.

We still need to address our biggest NEED, which is the Center position.

Dude averaged 18-10 last season when he was pretty much healthy. Guy is 28 but hardly played early in his career so 18-10 while playing great defense and blocking shots isn't to much to expect.

There's no point in getting Wallace simply because Rick the Ruler won't play him. Didn't he decide to bench T-will because he's not smart enough to understand the offense? Well guess what, Wallace is T-will ancestor. You'll just have two disgruntled players who are sitting on the bench in a suit.

I like Iggy a lot. He's young, athletic and just like Wallace plays hard 100% of the time. If you want Melo there's no justification for not wanting Iggy, he's more or less the same player. except with less hype and no cancer genes.

Wallace was 18-10 last year, and he can play the PF in small ball mode, if Rick gives him the chance. He also has experience with the shot-happy SG/weak center lineup.

The more I look into it, the more that Gerald appears both realistic and logical for our line-up. Although his offense isn't scoring champ applicable, he can stuff the score sheet on a nightly basis and in Rick's system Gerald could definitely up his scoring rate!

    Anybody else on your radar?

Neither player wins us a championship, yet both hurt our draft position and cost us assets.

Wallace is a very good second to third option. Who's the first?.... Well let's make it happen and we shall see

That's true, no way will they win us a championship but our draft position will be dismal anyway and assets? Dude our assets are a little over hyped.
What do you consider assets?.. Bud, Lee, Hill, Jeffries, AB?
For one Bud plays no D and that's basically the 2nd most important void that needs to be filled, Lee is a decent shooter and i grant him his defense but he too is hot and cold although he to me, is our most valuable asset and Hill he too is extremely hot and cold.

So are they really assets to ''cost us'' ?

Gerald Wallace brings hustle, ruggered D, 100% effort night in and out and his offense can be consistent given the opportunity.

Iggy can fit in with Martin. He is young and can be a solid addition. Our assets are overrated.

I've given up the draft position fight, Morey just doesn't operate this way. He seems to be okay drafting high but rather trade up then simply letting the team get there on its own.
