Anybody watching the ESPN double headers? Mavricks at Boston Jazz at Denver Jazz are pretty banged up but the more losses Denver accumulates and the pending Melo trade, I can see them out of the playoffs and we could take their spot. Also, if the Jazz lose, they could fall out of the race as well.
does memphis schedule get harder in the next few months? I hope it does or they will be taking the 8th seed!
They play the Cavs today so that should be a guaranteed win, but also play us on the 2nd leg of a back to back. Hope we take care of business tomorrow. Look for Lowry to have a big game, possibly a triple double.
All Star Kevin Love has his double double. And as usual, they're losing. This time, against the Toronto Raptors, a team that is currently on a 13 game losing streak.
Memphis is currently trailing the lowly Cavs at half time. Hope the Cavs can have some dignity and actually compete. Also, another key game tonight as the Thunder play the Suns. The Suns have currently won 3 straight and are the 10th seed, while 2 games out of the playoff picture. They have played 4 games less than us and I hope the Thunder blow them out. Need the Cavs and Thunder to win tonight and for us to put the dagger on the Grizzlies playoff picture by winning tomorrow at our house.
Indiana has been playing well of late after the firing of O'Brien and Vogel taking over coaching duties. Hope they knock the Knicks out of the playoff race.
I hope not, if Indiana goes to the playoffs there is no way they trade Granger this year, the NYK will go to the playoffs regardless, it would be Indiana instead of Charlotte going to the playoffs PeAcE
He probably wants us to trade for him. I think Bird has gone on record as saying they aren't trading him.
As you should if you are a smart GM. Yep, I like Granger, I think he is better then his game has shown to date. I say this because he has the skill to create a play for him and someone else, in an end of game situation (what we need), despite not being good at doing it regularly during games (only 2 or 3 can so no big deal) and has the ability to play off the ball basketball while being a good long/mid-range shooter. In my opinion he would take his numbers to another level, specially his efficiency. His problem until this point in his career is bad shooting selection, he takes low percentage shots too often, some of it, is his fault, some of it is low talent level surrounding him, some of it is bad offensive schemes. He is K. Martin, with less efficiency overall, ability to create for others and penetrate more consistently, and a more focused defender. I like the idea of this combo, just on paper of course. PeAcE
