    Blake w/ Scola's craftiness = unfair.

No reason for Scola to help out the competition lol

Yes he is. Chuck defends Blake straight up and doesn't have to rely on dirty play...

Last year the bench was stronger, this year the starters are stronger... Maybe its not a coincidence that whatever unit lowry is on is better. It cant be that simple can it...

US Jewish ice hockey player sues club for anti-Semitism
Anaheim Ducks team, file pic The Anaheim Ducks assigned Jason Bailey to a minor league affiliate

A Jewish ice hockey player is suing his former club claiming they discriminated against him because of his religion.

Jason Bailey played in California for the Anaheim Ducks but was assigned to play with the club's minor league affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors.

His lawyers say he faced "a barrage of anti-Semitic, offensive and degrading verbal attacks regarding his Jewish faith" from Condors' coaches.

The clubs have not commented on the accusations.

The lawsuit, filed in Orange County, alleges that Mr Bailey was "subject to severe and/or pervasive harassment on the basis of religion" from coaches Martin Raymond and Mark Pederson.

This included comments that Jews "only care about money and who's who" and jokes that he could not be trusted with money.

"Based on his religion, he was blackballed," Mr Bailey's lawyer, Keith Fink, told reporters. "They wouldn't skate him. They wouldn't play him."

The player complained to the club's management in 2009 and was traded to another team, the Ottawa Senators, who later assigned him to the minor league Binghamton Senators.

Mr Fink said both Condors coaches had apologised to him in writing and were briefly suspended, but that the action did not go far enough and they should have been fired.

"Instead of doing the right thing... those two guys are still coaches and they sent him to Siberia", the Orange County Register quoted him as saying.

Neither the Ducks nor the Condors commented on Wednesday.

Sure -- he's not a defensive player in any way. But it's not very often that he is useless on offense.
