iPhone 4 unlocked?

yes it can be unlocked just need to get your sim cut to fit the iphone 4. I can jailbreak and unlock it if you want. good luck.

 

I recently had to buy one for my cousin in Pakistan.

AFAIK, the AT&T ones need to be jailbroken to be unlocked. However, the ones sold in Canada are factory unlocked.

 

Can you do that?? Seriously, I'm getting my iphone next week...

 

Yes, I am currently using T-Mobile on my iPhone 4. Only iPhone 4's with iOS 4.0.2 or Baseband 01.59.00 can be unlocked, the newer ones can't..

I got my Sim cut into a micro sim for like $5.

iOS 4.1 with baseband 2.10.04 cannot be unlocked for now. The Dev Team says Jan. 16th, but they probably won't have it until the end of the month.
That is why Unlocked iPhone 4's on 4.0.2 and below or with Baseband 01.59.00 are worth so much.

Correct.....Or 4G as they call it haha fail....but AT&T is doing the same now

 

Its pretty ridiculous apple making these locked phones. Most every other company will unlock it for you.

 

Who calls it 4g?

It's clearly called the iPhone 4. I did hear that they are coming out with the Iphone 4g later this year though.

 

i think he meant tmobile calling their 3G network ..4G.
