Neither Yao nor Brooks were coming back on their supposed dates. Such misinformation within the organization is unacceptable. Now i'm just waiting for Brooks's indefinite return news next.
He has never had a date though, they said 4-6 weeks, and it has been 5....we need them both back at full strength, not playing their way into health, but healthy already. DD
More importantly; we need them back one at a time. Ideally, Brooks would come back first, so that he can develop some chemistry with the current guys, then introduce Yao back in a couple of weeks later. Just inserting them both into the lineup, at the same time, is really gonna jack stuff up.
This is not a big deal at all. Have you never watched players come back from injuries? It's just an estimated guess.
Because they know that fans are grabbing on to any type of news that comes out about players returning. Letting news come out, then changing it again confuses the fans. Or is it just me?
God forbid the Houston Rockets be cautious about injuries. It's not like estimates can change or something.
There's no need to rush back players from injuries - it causes more harm than good. I'm not a doctor or anything, but speaking from personal experiences, with injuries, some days it feels great, others not so much. When playing with injuries, your other muscles and joints have to compensate for lost mobility - if this happens, you're on two bad wheels rather than just one. Wait till he's fully healed - team's playing fairly well right now.
I'm all for letting the athletes heal properly. My beef is with the misleading info that leaks out. Personally, i think they both will be back next week.
That was one hell of a nasty sprain. I am not shocked to hear this. Luckily, Aaron is young... a dude 30+ would be out much longer.
Lowry should will hold his own. Lowry is the catalyst to this team! No Lee at Backup Pg, play Ish & JT
