What happens when you are on deferred adjudication and receive another ticket?

    LOL, as ridiculous as it sounds I had a feeling the same ******* cop was gonna be there with his stupid little radar gun waitin to pull people over... I mean there was no one around I was the only car there and I just gotten of the stupid exit, I actually slowed down when I saw him...

    If the 2nd ticket was in a different county, it probably does not affect the original ticket/deferred adjudication. But, you can hire a traffic ticket lawyer for around $100 to fight the ticket and you'll probably win (the cop won't show).

    Sounds good but, I don't think I have that kind of time to hire a lawyer for a freaking speeding ticket... I'll just take defensive driving for this one...

    He wasn't even trying... He had his little radar thingy sittin on his ass eatin donuts and ****.. At least chase me from behind and blink those lights like a normal cop should, LOL...

    dayum...that sux...IIRC, deferred is about 3 months so you should be good, but aI'm not sure if the judge will give it to you again, so you may have to take def. driving...

    my deferred adjudication lasted one year and i got a second ticket 2 months later. mine were in different counties (10+ yrs ago back in college) and i took defensive driving for the other. nothing happened to me.
