Because Les wanted a more fun, up-tempo, run-and-gun team. Well, you got your wish Les. Are you happy now?
lol this stat sheet is horrendous. The Rockets are number 2 in pace, behind who? the suns, the warriors? No. The Timberwolves. All credibility lost. too small of a sample size
yes, i agree with most of the posts here.. 3 games is too small of a sample size..needs more games to see how it unfolds.
How many of those other teams played the Lakers, Denver, and one of the best offensive outputs ever from a notoriously high scoring team in Golden State? I'm not saying our defense is fine but that last place has a lot to do with who we have played...
I dont' see the Rockets being worse than an average defensive team. They have the potential to be really good on the offensive end, but let's suppose they are merely "pretty good" -- so, like 9th or 10th. If we're at league average in our defense, and 9th or 10th in offense, that makes about a 48-49 win team. Which is consistent with Clutch's prediction. Even with the rough start, I still think that's on the low end for what we should expect. We're probably not going to be championship-good, but I think we'll be good enough to make the playoffs and have a decent shot at passing the first round.
neither the lakers nor nuggets lit us up, we just couldnt score enough or when it mattered, but there was an attempt at playing a small shoot out vs golden state which on top of being stupid, completely throws such a small sample.
We were below average last year, as well. And that's with Battier and Ariza starting together for half the year. We only got worse once Kmart came in.
Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin are the defensive problem. Declining Battier can no longer cover their men. Ariza gone. Lee doesn't get minutes.
we replaced a lock down defender in Ariza with Kevin Martin, in my opinion we should of kept Ariza and traded Battier Ariza>>>>Battier the biggest problem was Ariza's contested shots but I feel like he would no longer take those with Martin and Yao in the lineup
