I thought the Pats were dumb to move him just for a 3rd round pick when you could have got an compensatory 3rd round pick in 2012 if you would have let him walk at the end of the season but this move by the Vikings turned out terrible. Chilly should be fired at the end of the season.

Report: Randy Moss waived by Minnesota Vikings
Randy Moss has been waived by the Minnesota Vikings, according to an NFL Network report.

The move comes the day after Moss' bizarre postgame presser after the Vikings' loss to his former team, the New England Patriots. In it, he professed his love for the Patriots and admiration for Coach Bill Belichick and vowed to do press conferences in which he asks and answers questions. That came on the heels of a $25,000 fine last week for not meeting media obligations as required by the NFL.

How does the Moss move fall on his shoulders alone? I'm almost positive the move wasn't just his bright idea. The one they should really be cutting is Brett Favre but they would never do that.

So who goes after Moss now???

I know he was waxing all poetic postgame about the Pats, the Pats fans and Coach Belicheat but I can't believe this would play a part in them releasing him. No way.

Pretty bizarre weekend in the NFL. First McNabb getting benched for Grossman, now this.

Please, Texans. For once, do something risky. It's pretty obvious we're not going to stop anybody this year -- let's just outscore them. Get Randy.

    Probably a dumb question but.....

What is the difference in being waived and released?

If the Colts end up with him, I think I might shed a tear.
