What Sucks Worse, BK's Breafast or the Commercials

anybody know what actually goes into a mcdonald's pancake or mcgriddle pancake? i'm almost afraid to ask.

 

I haven't eaten BK since I went to UTSA in the early 90's. There was one on campus in the cafeteria (along with Chick-fil-A). It's just horrible, IMO. Their food is bland and their marketing is worse. That stupid "King" is creepy and appears to be a pedo.

McD, Wendy's, Arby's, Chick-fil-A, Jack in the Box are all far better. Taco Bell is the only other fast food place that I avoid like the plague as much as BK.

 

I haven't eaten the food, but can anything be worse than the commercial with the EMT's?

 

Their breakfast is horrendous, I unfortunately eat it every now and then since it's right on the way to work and fast/cheap. I pretty much regret it every single time though.

The Breakfast Jack for 99 cents is still the best deal as it's super cheap and not that unhealthy for you (compared to other fastfood breakfast items). McDonald's bacon-egg-cheese biscuit is still the best tasting IMO.

 

I had Wendy's breakfast when I visited Kansas City a couple months back. It was better than McDonald's too. Has anybody tried out the Subway breakfast? Any feedback? I thought Taco Bell was going to launch a breakfast line this year too. Anybody heard anything?

 

I guess my hubby and I are the only ones that love the BK commercial. We sing it and play with our 4 month old baby to the tune and he loves it!!! As for the breakfast, I'm a sausage croissanwich person.

 

Another thing, I like the fact that BK offers ham as a breakfast meat. I'm not a big sausage eater and bacon is never crisp enough from any fast food restaurant.

 

I took an entrepreneurship class during my undergrad at Texas State and one of the higher ups at Whataburger came as a guest speaker. He actually addressed that issue, I just can't remember the specifics.

 

I remember back in the 60's when Burger King had the best burgers,hot dogs,ham sandwiches,fish was good also. They made ther own Root-beer also then Pillsbury bought the out and the decline began . The good ole days!

 

Tried Subway a while back, got a ham and egg flatbread sandwich. I was really skeptical because the egg looks like a white plastic plate, but it wasn't that bad.

I usually eat Wendy's breakfast if I'm at Intercontinental, their biscuit sandwich is pretty similar to McDonald's. Taco Bell is probably the last fastfood place I'd want breakfast from.

But everything else is a level of suckitude unheard of. Except their onion rings -forgot that. They are awesome too.

Apparently somebody needs to start a McDonald's or Burger King poll.

 

Those cinnamon buns sound good. But yeah BK breakfast sucks.

I like their burgers better than mickey d's and their onion rings and desserts are good/, so is the chicken sandwich.

 

If anyone stops by the Stafford area near Dulles and 90, there is a small place called Soliz Casa de Tacos which serves the best breakfast tacos in all of Houston!

It is family owned and operated, meaning its the only one of it's kind and they are open 7am-2pm Mon-Sat.
