I prefer AB and Scola. Scola have alot more offensive weapon compare to Yao. Not to mention a much more effective jump shot.

Disagree on the jump shot part. Scola's more crafty and quicker, but Yao is bigger and a better finisher.

Yao also sets huge picks, which is kinda half the battle.

I hope Yao continues to improve day-by-day. I remember us wreaking havoc on the Lakers and Blazers D with Yao Ming (and he wasn't always the guy taking the shot). I honestly think the guy has a lot of intangibles, and last season kinda showed what we missed from the big fella. Expect him and whoever the ball handler is to rise up on this list (certainly ahead of completely unproven guesses present here).

You mean chuck the shot and chase the rebound?

He sets great moving picks. He doesn't get call for offensive foul because he moves slowly and the refs cannot detect the movement. :)

A more serious take on the Brooks/Yao pick and roll: Yao scored his first two baskets in the pre-season off of the pick and rolls with Brooks. In each case, Brooks threw him a bounce pass, which he then took for a layup. I wonder if they've been working hard on that. Yao used to miss the Brooks bounce pass in 08/09 if I remember correctly.

No pick is ever perfect Carl. There's always a little movement involved, especially if the guy is a giant. Movement usually happens when he starts the roll while the dude is still face-planted into his chest.

His picks make guards look like 12 year olds getting picked by a grown man. I'm looking forward to seeing Kmart and AB get wide open off his picks.

With Yao setting the picks, I feel that we will see more pick and shoot than pick and roll. Yao's big body will set sound picks allowing for ab or martin to just use the pick and shoot. Both are great shooters making it more effective.

    What?

Why AB no pass ball to Ming?

And the chorus is proven wrong yet again.

I don't get SI's reverse logic ratings, 12 is it the best or worst? Because Lebron, Wade and Bosh seem like they should be on the top of any list not the bottom. And if he has got Collison and Hibbert as better than Felton/Amare he is crazy.

This has to be a joke. We all know Yao gets barely 10% of his points off pick and rolls and Brooks can't pass well off pick and rolls either.
