    This game is gonna be awesome. Brook Lopez is a up and coming star. Yao didn't fare too well against Howard. Lets see how he does against Lopez.

    Not sure if this has been confirmed, but according to sohu.com, Scola's wife just had a baby today, so Luis is now on his way back to the U.S., and he will miss both preseason games in China.

    Currently on u verse outside of Houston so I guess I'll just have to hope their is a working link up. Hope to see Chuck starting at PF as well so he can showcase his offensive arsenal with Scola gone.

    The NBA was popular 15 years ago, but then they pulled basketball off our TV screens and it slowly lost momentum. Australian basketball is not in a good place at the moment - teams losing money and going out of business.

    The good news is that since digital TV was launched, some free sports channels started airing NBA games during prime time. This has brought back some interest. Additionally, NBA league pass broadband international has helped me get back into it heavily.

    But on a whole, no NBA isn't that big in Australia, I find it hard to talk basketball with anyone at the best of times. Some people know the teams but none of the players outside the major superstars.

    Anyway, looking forward to this game!
