Considering Yao won't be at 100% and we haven't got our rotation and players figured out yet, I'm glad to hear that they, too, won't be at full force.

I have a feeling Kobe might still play

I'm interested to see how our bench does against theirs

trap game for surre. Even if Kobe doesn't play, they are still better then an average team with Pau, Odom, and Artest...Jackson coaching. Add to the fact that Jackson is already coaching the team to play without Kobe, playing at home, far from an easy win.

Let the Lakers make excuses..dosen't matter.. no one cared or let up on us when we didnt have Yao and/or Mclady the last 2 seasons..time for us to do the same....will take the win...

A severely limited Kobe might be worse than no Kobe. (See his performance against the Barcelona team.) Let's hope that Kobe wants to be hero and insists on playing thereby hurting his own team.

Either way, I have no sympathy for the Lakers whatsoever. They could all lose a leg and I would have no pity on them.

well, Yao's limited and Miller is hurt as well, so we are not at our full strength either - i don't mind this at all, a win is a win by the end of the regular season :p

Brooks got his two favorite guards on one team: Fisher and Blake

Not like a lineup of Gasol/Odom/Artest/Barnes/Fisher can't still beat us. We gotta be ready to play.

Though with Blake backing up Fisher, we just may have to play Brooks 48 minutes. He could drop 50 on those two.

I had confidence in our guys to pull off the season opening win regardless, but this will make it a lot easier.

Kinda takes the fun out of it, if we do win without those two playing. :(

What's their lineup going to be,
    Blake
    Artest
    Barnes
    Odom
    Gasol
    ?
    Our lineup can beat that.

Ehh.. we didn't have Yao when we lost so this should be irrelevant in my book. Beat LA!
