I think this is the smartest move, even if we lose. I'd rather lose this game (which we may end up winning) rather than lose AJ80HOF for an extensive period of time.
I much rather let him sit if he and team think it's a possibilty for him to make the injury worse. Asomugha is going to shut down who ever he covers because he is that good. I like to see if Dickerson get some snaps today.
I know Kubiak and Co made it clear that Dickerson was listed as a WR but what are the chances he could see some snaps at both with Owen out?
Owen Daniels is active and will start. Texans have 3 TEs active today including Daniels, Dresseen, and Casey. That doesn't even count Garrett Graham who isn't active.
Yeah I was just looking at info on Graham. So does his contract still expire on the practice squad. if not, I don't see the sense in keeping Dressen.
Graham isn't on the practice squad. You can have 53 man on the active roster. Out of the 53, only 45 are allowed to be active and can play on gamedays. Dressen is probably the best blocker out of the bunch. Kubiak like him and he won't be going anywhere.
Really it's more the offense line (minus Brown). It's not on the passing game at this point. Run game needs to carry load.
I hate to say it but this is a must win today. Losing this game kills any momentum we took from the Indy and Washington games. You have to beat teams like this on the road to be a playoff team. Looking for Schaub to have a big game hopefully.
Our 3rd and 4th receivers have to carry the load when we do pass it today. Expect to see more of Owen Daniels.
