Timmy Chan's is great if you want to have lunch, dinner, breakfast, and enough food to feed the neighbors and your dogs left over all for $6-$7. I haven't been to one in forever, but I used to love that place when I was broke. Lol.
a LONG time ago, I ate the house (mixed) fried rice (beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp) at the Ha Ha Restaurant at Highway 6 and Clay. It was fantastic.
Anyone have a good fried rice recipe that's easy to make? The ones I have tried haven't been all that great.
Any fried rice is good if you add some siracha sauce aka rooster sauce. Make sure you stir and mix it good.
I've been looking for a long time and haven't found one. I'm starting to believe it goes beyond the recipe - that perhaps it must be done in a wok with a certain type of oil and a certain type of rice. I dunno.
