If it is, it sure isn't clear.

The vid points out the play clocks on the field/scoreboard. Then stats it sits at 40 for a second and then "moves" meaning once the clock hits 00, 40 full seconds have elapsed.

It then stops and points out that ESPN's broadcasted playclock hits 00 16 frames early. Then stops when the play clock is 00, and you can see it on the scoreboard.

At least that's how I see it.

Lol at Michigan State's #56 at the 23 seconds mark. He just shoved that shocked ND player to the ground.

The officials usually let you snap the ball if you do it right after the play clock hits double 0's, what an asinine thing to complain about.

You got it right. It shows when the ESPN clock reaches zero then it shows when the stadium clock reaches zero. If you put the video in 720p and blow it up full screen, the stadium play clock clearly visible. In both cases, the ball had not been snapped. It then continues to roll the clock to show how long after the play clock had run out that the ball was snapped.

Yeah, I just read the description on the video. The person that uploaded it cleared it up. That description wasn't there at the time that I posted it.

The coach of Michigan State afterwards pretty much admitted that they have a young kicker and it would have been a tough kick. 46 yards is hardly a gimmee in college. Throw in the pressure of OT, and it being a young kicker? It was a risk, but more of a calculated one knowing the strength (or lack there of) of their kicker. Regardless, it was a fun play to watch as it happens. I just remember being shocked as it happened!

For the people saying the MSU coach must did not have any confidence in the Kicker

Well in College most kickers are shaky from that range. A 46 yd field goal for a college kicker is like a 56 yd field goal try in the NFL.

Either way from where they were at that's a gutsy call.
