They also wrote that Bourn reached on a fielder's choice, but he was credited with a bunt single.

Well, Keppinger lead off with a single, then Hernandez walked and Bourn tried to bunt them over but Chapman threw to 3rd in an attempt to get Jason B.(Who ran for Kepp) but Rolen dropped the ball and everyone was safe. Truth be told, if Rolen holds on to the ball he is probably safe anyway.

Except the third base umpire looked like he was ready to make the out call.

If a fielder makes a clean play but the wrong decision, quite often a fielder's choice is given. For example, had Quintero hit the exact same ball, they probably would have given an FC because it would be reasonable to assume the pitcher could have gotten him out at first. As it were, the pitcher's only reasonable shot at an out was to third so he made the correct decision.

    ahh ok

I always thought a fielder's choice had to result in one out.

Stubbs must particularly love crushing bombs against us.

Reminds me of Berkman a few years ago, seems everything he hits is a HR. He's out of his Tulopalozza mind . Never seen anything like it thought, he might hit 30 Homers this month

Remember he missed about a month with a broken wrist, if it wasn't for that he would probably have 40 HRs & 120 RBIs by now. Glad I didn't trade him on my fantasy team

This is the 3rd time that the Reds have scored 11 or more runs against us this season.

And it's the 7th time in 11 games that they've scored 6 or more.
