Scola is the focal point of Argentina's attack. Splitter goes long stretches without getting the ball on offense. Scola is a more accomplished scorer at this point in their careers, but it's a little unfair to compare their numbers as Argentina doesn't have a ball hog guard (Barbosa) that jacks up shots before the team has any chance to get into the offense. How many times do you see Splitter get the ball in the post? Maybe two times a game. How many off balance, bad shots do you see Barbosa take? If Splitter got some of the shots Barbosa was wasting, he'd probably have numbers closer to Scola's.
