This question is harder to answer than clubbing baby seals.

Calvin Murphy!!! "Stop and pop". The hair, suits and personality, I really miss that guy!

Personally I enjoy Matt's Bulls Eye, but I prefer to hear Clyde's insight more so than Bullard. Would you rather hear from a specialist/role player or from a hall of famer?

Put it this way, would you rather take financial advise from Warren Buffet or from Ken Lay?

I prefer Clyde. I think he's funny. I think Bull's sense of humor can be awkward and dry sometimes.

Bullard and it's not even close. Drexler is the worst excuse for a commentator; he is the WORST.

And obviously if I could pick anyone to team with Bill, it would be Calvin.

Clyde is terrible. Bill at least shares the same enthusiasm I share even if he is a homer at times.

You know, I thought I'd eventually get used to them. I haven't. I still hate listening to both Bull and Clyde. I want Calvin back.

I actually don't mind either. Both Bullard and Drexler are pretty knowledgeable. BUllard has a better on-screen personality and presence, but Drexler isn't so bad once you get used to his cheesy Drexlerisms. They're no match for Calvin Murphy, but I think they're fine.

    Clyde's insight?
    "It's like clubbing baby seals!"
    "The Great Wall!"
    "Hey Bud, Let's Party!"
"He could be one of the all-time greats!" (referring to John Lucas III)

Need I go on? His insights consist of hyperbole and cliche. In the words of Charles Barkley, "Just turrble!"

Calvin Murphy hands down! As others have mentioned Bullard gets annoying pretty quick with all the "Hey Bud Lets party's", and all the "back when I played blah blah blah..." Drexler is pretty bad too although I think he's gotten a little better and at least I get a few laughs.

Bullard seems knowledgeable but is annoying as all get out. Drexler? Well it seems pretty apparent why his stint as a coach was so unsuccessful. He may know how to play basketball, but he doesn't seem to know how to talk about it.

I love them both for their place in Rockets history - but they're both horrible commentators.

"Hey Bud, Let's Party!" is actually Bullard's brain child.

Bullard's awesome. Sometimes a bit corny but he's great.

    Cynthia Cooper.

    (dramatic pause)

    BLAAAAAARF...........

As a fellow University of Iowa alum, I always liked Bullard, but as time went on, the Rocket homerism became a little painful. If he would just reign it in a bit. He's that season-ticket holder who sits nearby, whose constant-streaming knowledge of the game is overshadowed by the incessant gripe, gripe, gripe. You want to turn to him and yell, "All right! All right! He flops! He always flops! The ref's paid off, and the sun will rise in the East tomorrow morning, and the morning after that, unless God sneezes and blows the Earth in the opposite direction! Now.....SHUT UP!"

Drexler looks and talks like someone who recovered from a head injury but I can tune out dimwits better than whiners.

Bring back Calvin. Pimp suits, probably gets a haircut every second day lest he lose that "heeeeeey, big daddy!" vampire point in the middle of his forehead. Watching him and Worrell together was like watching The Real World - Middle-Aged Houston. Two dudes deliberately thrown together who were doomed to fail but disappointed the producers when they actually got along real well. But Worrell could probably work next to a bus-terminal hooker transvestite and make it work.
