With just three weeks remaining until training camp, the Bulls were dealt a blow when they learned second-round draft pick Roger Mason Jr. could miss four to five months with an injury to his right shoulder.

Mason sustained the injury Thursday in a pickup game with Michael Jordan and other NBA players at Hoops The Gym. According to a witness, Mason tried to dunk over veteran forward and Chicago native Juwan Howard when he injured the shoulder, which plagued him during his college career at Virginia.

Juwan Howard? Didn't he hurt Derek Anderson's shoulder while Anderson attempted a dunk?

Juwan Howard is really good friends with Anderson, so I don't think that injury was malicious or anything. And why are you trying to sky over someone in a PICK-UP GAME, when you're getting ready for the NBA season!?
