    but doesn't being able to manipulate the media create an advantage, the players also use the media to get alot of their information. Its savvy and more GMs should learn to how to manipulate the media to create a positive image for them and their teams.

    Maybe he's right about Morey's relationship with ESPN. But Woj/Yahoo is a competitor to ESPN, and he's generally been cold towards the Rockets and our management. I doubt Morey is feeding him information.

    i do think melo's top choices are NY or LA. his wife is an entertainer, and he does want more fame.

    despite reports, i don't think we're in his top 3.

    Please the rockets never get any love from the media. IE no national tv games last season and 3 this year?

    This just makes me want to land melo that much more.

    hahahah like the NY media doesn't do the same thing. Same for the Chicago media... anytime they want a trade.. all of a sudden all the rumours come out that they are coming to NY / Chicago blah blah blah

    I guess the Knick fans are finally starting to realize that the pieces they traded away to make room for LeBron are exactly what's going to enable another team (rockets) to lure Carmelo away from them. Hate it when that happens! :cool:

    There are several GM/Players that do this all the time. I just think Morey has a better way of playing poker than most do. Morey knows how to get things out there and leave everyone else guessing. He's done this time and time again. Look at the Ariza trade for a good example.

    There's a lot of negative hate because Morey is friendly though.

    what's wrong, bitter that the knicks still have some of the most incompetent management in all of sports? you freaking hired back isiah thomas...even in a consulting role, he will still find a way to **** your team up.

    It must suck being a Knicks fan. Really suck. You have a crap team for years, going into cap hell at the same time, are raped of most of your assets, and now have to worry about another team with a very rich owner moving to Brooklyn in a couple of seasons into a beautiful new arena.

    Poor, sad Knicks fans... crying now about the Rocks, when we just managed a winning season with a team that was a hell of a lot of fun to watch, with 2 suits sitting on the sidelines pulling down tens of millions of dollars, while managing to make you bend over at the same time. Yeah, poor, sad pathetic Knicks. Cry me a river!

    Well, maybe the guy has a point and Morey doesn't know much about basketball. After all, the Knicks have a great city to lure big free agents and most importantly, because of their poor performance in recent years they have draft picks to...
