Arrived today from Germany and made the mistake of going to sleep after I arrived. Now it's almost midnight and I am hungry...and not really too eager to order room service.

Any recommendations? I am renting a car (yellow corvette  ) so I could go anywhere.

Thanks for the recommendations so far. I'm in Century City right now. Going to go back to LAX tomorrow afternoon, flying to Vegas tomorrow. Will be back in LA on the 22nd for a few days.

Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles might be open.

Chano's is open. It's on figueroa and 30th near SC campus. It's a good Mexican joint.

Sunset Blvd. There's a grip of late night eateries there from pizza to tacos that cater to the night owls

Update: Ended up eating an overpriced, greasy room service pizza. Slept three more hours. Now ready to hit the fattening breakfast buffet! After that, I will drive around a bit and visit an Apple Store to see if they can fix my MacBook.

    Bellagio

Am thankful for any advice regarding Vegas, too (although I am meeting 6 friends there and I think we have some stuff scheduled already:

    http://www.looktours.com/red-rock-canyon-hummer-tours.html

and "O" by Cirque du Soleil and ZZ Top shows. Other than that, looks like gambling, drinking and de-toxing by the pool).
