    That "very good team" has only been good for 2 seasons.

    one season = ran into the lakers...sure they had a chance...but Kobe is Kobe.

    another season = coach got sick

    OK the proposed trade i showed was us giving trash for Melo. But look at it this way if they are in a rebuilding mode and are looking for a new franchise player Morey can offer the Knicks picks which are first round. So they may be getting crap in players but they potentially could get a very high pick in the next two drafts, which could be enough for them to take a deal without brooks or martin.

    I would rather give up Brooks. With Melo, Martin, Lowry and Yao we will get too many three throw attempts to count.

    1, Trade exception?
    2. Expirings (keeping Battier would be a huge plus)?
    3. Draft picks?
    4. Young talent (Assets)?

    NJ maybe. NYK has a nice expiring, Rockets have TWO. Rockets 6 mil TE. Young talent? Nets have Favors, NYK have Gallo, Rockets have Hill? Bud? Patpat?

    Picks...Rockets have 2 good ones in the next two yrs potentially.

    I really like our players and would hate to see any of them go, but for melo.... I'd be okay with it! Lol

    Why in the world would carmelo anthony mention new jersey as a possible destination they were the worst team in the league last season. Oops I forgot he is half PUERTO RICAN!!! I dont think hes coming to houston hes using us ala bosh.
