One of the few indie bands (God, I hope I'm using the correct term...) that I REALLY like. The other being Interpol. And that was before reading about the Rockets smack.

Didn't the lead singer grow up in Houston?

    The Woodlands.

Arcade Fire is one of those bands you'd be stupid not to like.

Exactly. Kind of how I feel when people tell me they don't like Radiohead. It's really grounds for never talking to someone again, because they're obviously not all there.

I admit it took me a while to get into Radiohead, I liked a lot of crappy music when I was younger.

Then one day I just put on OK Computer, took a huge bong rip and laid there for 4 straight hours listening to it over and over again in pure "HOLY F%CK" mode.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Harrisment again.

Excuse me, but you've got your pretentiousness set at ten. Would you mind turning it down some?

Sorry, but I don't consider it pretentious. I think it's common sense.

Was just about to post the link for the webcast. -1 Indie Cred to Harrisment, +5 to Brightside. ;)

Looking forward to this. I read an interview with Terry Gilliam earlier and he sounded like he didn't know wtf he was going to do even though he's supposed to be directing this thing. Should be interesting.

Exactly....game six was here in H-town, and it was John Starks.... I was on my way to my first Counting Crows concert that night- Adam Duritz mentioned on stage that the Rockets had beat the Knicks, and the crowd went wild.... I think think was down at Jones Hall downtown, and Buffalo Tom opened for them.

very good album...listened to it bout 10 times straight and then went back and listened to funeral again and damn no way does it compare to funeral...hmm...then again not many albums i have compare to it. i think suburbs runs a tad long...probably could have condensed it a bit. i'd rank their albums as follows:

    funeral 10/10
    neon bible 8/10
    suburbs 7.5/10
