Some of his songs are okay. But in general I don't really listen to Wale.

I'm surprised people don't like him. I think a lot of people slept on his CD. He is more Hip-Hop than rap. If you're a fan of Lupe Fiasco, Common, Kanye you should like Wale. I was rating his Attention Deficit album on my Ipod the other day and his songs were 4/5 and 5/5 IMO

Thanks for posting a link to his Mixtapes. Even though his Album was great the only mixtape I liked was 100 Miles & Running

    Wow. Strong words.
I'm sure you have a list going prolly about 20 deep of better rappers right now huh.

And please, no rappers who make up songs about dance moves.

Thanks for a link to the mixtape, can't wait to listen to him and hope he got label mate J-Cole on one or more of the joints.

Also check out Phil Ade, another DMV product on the come up.

J.Cole, Wale, B.o.B. are next up. B.o.B. took this year, Wale had "Pretty Girls" and that other joint earlier this year w/Lady GaGa which didn't get the full marketing/promo push they deserved even though they were hot tracks. Cole's takin next year by storm and I'm hopin Slaughterhouse joins the cause of hip hop revival.

Smart to put out free mixtapes after studio album, keeps both audiences interested. I was a big fan of the Mixtape About Nothing so hopefully this is just as good.

Pretty Girls and Chillin are probably the most mainstream Wale can get. His delivery is just not catchy enough. Although his content is great, his delivery is too 'old school' for today's market. It will be a shame if/when he changes his style to get on radio...although I hope he makes it, just drop a few hip hop albums first. WALEDANCE is another one of my favorites by him

Is Eminem and Slaughterhouse on the same label yet? That would be a lot of talent for Em's label
